Finally Sprint Diamond on Verizon, but...

Hi, all.

I'm new here, and I was able to activate my Sprint HTC Diamond on Verizon with tons of help thread here.

I want to post what I did for successful activation.

1. Find MSL or SPC code with registy hacking.
2. Find real ESN or HEX number from MEID HEX.
3. Change MSL to all 0 '000000' using QPST
4. Change sprint PRL to Verizon PRL using ##PRL#
5. Dial *228 and choose option 3
6. Unlock the phone for updating customized rom
7. Update rom (I'm using Mighty rom-Generic Brand)

That's it.

I have been using it about 3 days, and I'm so happy except the following;

1. The roaming triangle sign is always on even I updated roaming OTA program. Anyone help?
2. The Data service is still working on it, only TXT message is okay.
3. No Verizon Sign or letter, Just preferred system shows.

If anyone has a Verizon Rom or additional info, Please help US.

in order to get rid of the roaming triangle you will probably have to update your pri to a Verizon pri. i also read another user cleared mtu as instructed by verizon when he got his handset activated and it got rid of it.

Do I have to contact VWZ tech? Is there any way to update by manually?

So you gave Verizon the Sprint ESN, and they activated it with no problem?

Once you change the .prl to verizon, unlock the MSL and reset the SPL to 000000. You can activate the phone just by dialing *228 option 3 from the sprint phone. You never have to call the Verizon's tech dept.

The phone's ESN aka the original Sprint ESN would be on the account. Verizon started activating other companies phones.

I've got my sprint diamond working on vzw with data, phone, and mms, etc. Here are some tips.

Activation
If you call a vzw tech and try to get the ESN loaded you won't have much luck. Your best bet is to do the *228 option 3 as previously mentioned in this thread. You must have your SPC set to 000000. If you haven't loaded the VZW PRL you may need to dial *22899 instead of *228.

Roaming
To get rid of roaming I loaded the vzw ERI and a modified PRL.

Data
If you are having trouble with data verify your MIP settings. I had trouble getting my AAA and HA shared secret keys populated. If this happens then you should call vzw tech support and request a DMU reset.

MMS
I loaded DCD's cab of Arcsoft MMS with VZW settings on a ROM without spring picture mail. I found that I had conflicts with sprint picture mail if both were installed.

Wavez//Thanks!!!! I just got rid of roaming sign. ^^ With QPST program, I put the VERIZON WIRELESS banner on the screen.
Perfect.

Only remaining problem is data. I have 10.dmu file and want to know how update my phone with using QPST.
Can you tell me step by step instruction?
