the heat shields is missing. FCC said it wasn't required at first. it is. i believe replacement units will have it.

VZW radio helps allot.

i would like to know how to fix this f'in radio refresh so we can save so juice.

agreed, hopefully, there will be some type of recall or silent recall so we can swap our toasters out for shiny new diamonds.

totally agree. I have been with telus since 99. Yeap, they can screw you anyway they can. I am with them because reception is the best in rural BC where I do much of my business. I would be VERY SURPRISED if Telus got a good conscience on customer service all of a sudden and replace these units.
