okay so now with all the activity going on today, there is a slight chance that the Touch Pro could be released this weekend at some Retailers... do you all think we can take the Diamond with everything it came with to a store and exchange it for the PRO?

Ok so I wanna see if anyone has been in this sitatuon. I bought a 800w, went through two, finally was able to exchange for Diamond. Now first email to Sprint was basically no dice, you have already did a 30 day exchange. So anyone have any luck getting past this? I know I know you never know what Sprint will say if you just keep trying. Just figured I would see if anyone has had this situation.

unfortunatley no. if you bought the diamond through telesales, you have to purchase the pro through them (added to your account) and get a return package and send the diamond back. They will credit you the price of the diamond when it gets to the warehouse. Most retailers are sprint exclusive but not corporate owned so they won't do the exchange. If you take it to a corporate owned store, they will exchange it.

nifty.
i called sprint last nite..
i got my diamond as a free exchange coming from the mogul.
and the 26th is my 30th day, so they said if it does come out tomarrow i can go to a sprint store and just swap it there, he put the info in my acct notes and said if i have any problems at the store i can call sprint and they'll straiten the manager out. HAHA!

My 30 days was on the 12th. I called today to see if I can get a replacement and they shot me down hardcore. I talked to 3 people and they said that I have to go buy a new phone. =(
How were you guys able to do it?
