I've concluded that GetSPC just won't work. But you can try Sprint's chat system (assuming that's your carrier...).

After I do what you have said and soft reset and make sure the changes stuck in my registry, I have an Atlog folder and a txt file that is ATDbg0. I tried using the code next to the characters you said and it still tells me wrong code. What could I be doing wrong? The getspc didn't work for me as well.

How long is this code? Are you sure it is valid?

Re: Obtaining MSL

I have done everything that I can think of. I have gotten to the metropcs prl. If I try to make a call I get Metropcs and if I dial *228 it takes me to MetroPCS. My phone still says Sprint as the carrier logo. What else do I need to do? Any help would be great.

Change the following registry entries in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\ATDbgLog
Enable: 1
LogMode: 1
* Wait a reasonable amount of time and soft-reset (I have noticed that it seems to take longer for this value to take affect, so if you reboot and the registry values are not changed, then you need to do it again and wait longer)
* Check to see that the file \ATDbg0\ATDbg0.txt has been created.
* Return the values back to what they were (most likely 0) waiting the same amount of time as above.
* Look in the ATDbg0.txt file and you should see a log of commands sent to the CDMA radio and there should be something like this somewhere in the file:
|| Begin Code Sample ||
11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_RMSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_RMSL: 354201\r\n0\r
11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_ROTKSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_ROTKSL: 216112\r\n0\r
|| End Code Sample ||
The numbers next to the Rx: +HTC_RMSL line should be your MS
This method worked perfectly. I have two Diamonds and the GetSPL file kept giving me different results. One of which was completely different from what CS gave me.
Only difference with this method is that the resulting ATDbg0.txt was created one level up.

I went to the Sprint Store asked the girl at the counter for mine, done.. No hassles, no questions (other than info to get into your account).

This is the way to do it. Ive done it and it works perfectly... and only takes about 20 mins tops and no cabs or software to install.

You beat me to the posting...
