Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre
I have had mine a couple weeks now, and after the add ons that I have put, the contacts tab is not working right. I get a "restarting TF3D" program message, and then it goes back to home. I am nearly ready to unlock and start with a new ROM flash; but still not there...also my Opera doesn't work any more, it tries to start, and then doesn't finish. Will keep looking at other threads for the answers...device still OK to use for now.

Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre
I would get rid of tf3d if the today screen had the htc today plug in I had on my touch. is that a cab or does someone have an easy way to put that in? It was a today screen settings option on my touch but it's not on my diamond, I liked that and don't use more than half the tf3d menus, imho, they're more clutter than they're worth.
Haven't tried second today or tf3d customizer, I prefer to stay fairly vanilla till I've totally tested the basics. |

Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre
I disabled TF3D and I'm much happier for it.
I tried SecondToday for a while, but then realized that I liked the regular Today screen much more than TouchFlo. The regular screen has more information and requires fewer button presses to get things accomplished. Flashy and pretty are nice, but not when they sacrifice usability. |

Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre
TF3D is nice looking but there are a couple of things that I hate about it. I'm looking at the home screen and it shows an all day event of Halloween tomorrow but doesn't show me my 11:00 today. That's just not good design. I can flip up and see it but I think we should be able to change the type and number of appointments that show on this screen. Also should be able to have particular tasks show up. Another thing that is not good is when you go to internet tab and flick up. All the favorites are there and you can't arrange them. They just seem to show up in the order you created them. Not good imo.

Thanx for this link. Bightchome works for me, now I need to modify it with HHC like you mentioned, because I don't need weather tab and would really like to modify this VGA touch style today screen some more. Do I need a special version of HHC for VGA? Do you have a link (I'll look, but you really seemed to know exactly what I wanted the first time). Does it let me change sizes at all? It turns out I can't use dpad/buttons with gloves and I need to use touchpad for most functions and things are really small in VGA, even the quick contacts and program icons are small. Almost want cube style buttons, but I never really customized the old cube and thought it was useless, but having a big VGA cube with side (or 2) for programs, side (or 2 or 3) for quick contacts would be perfect. I've read cube could only have 1 contact side, but this might be my dream interface, so can you help a bro out? Thanks again for the today link!! |

TF3D is one of the main features that got me interested in getting the diamond/pro.
