That is baffling then.. It would seem you have everything set correctly with the expected messages. It has to be something with the pair between the two... have you tried to use ICS with your phone and any other computer? If you have access to any other puter I would try that to rule out phone as the issue. Second, have you been successful and/or tried USB for ICS to see if its related to the BT?

AHA!!! that's was great thinking...i tried it on my wife's mac and IT WORKS!!! so i think the problem is somewhere on my mac...oh man...i'll have to go through all of the settings and if it doesn't work...maybe i'll need to reload the OS. THANKS SO MUCH eenieMINI!!! you've been sooooooooo helpful...i was totally ready to give up....props to you!!! = )

Yeah! progress... I can be stubborn even when I don't know what to do next. I hate letting the computers win! so maybe you can compare settings. Reload your sync program that sort of thing.

just wanted to say i am posting a THANKS from my laptop in a hotel room using my HTC touch pro as a tethered modem thanks to this CAB. You guys are wonderful!

Click on the cab from your Pro and download it to your device or storage card. After you have downloaded it, connect your Pro to your laptop and start Internet Sharing and see if it says Sprint and NOT Phone as Modem. I think it is ok to download the cab to your storage card. You can download the cab to your device or storage. The cab will adjust the registry settings automatically .

Hey eenieMINI...I basically did what I thought I'd have to do...which is reload the OS. it was worth it (took a couple hours) to then have internet wherever I go!!! Thanks a billion!!!!
