well, if any1 else is having a tethering issue(ICS stuff an all that)..u cud use this cab file i found on here(don't know from whom, was

, so what can i say...however, i did hit da thanx button on whoever it was that posted it, thx)..it lets u PAM, with ur regular username instead of a PAM username..i still use it on my fone to this day

addition: after installing, soft reset(for the hell of it) it gets stored under file explorer/windows

Wait..
I don't really get it.
What does this fix actually do?
I can connect to the internet with my laptop connected to my phone just fine, but do I get charged extra for doing that?

just download file to pc, connect phone via active sync, move the cab file using active sync file explore to your internal storage and then disconnect from pc.. use file explore on phone to go to internal storage, locate cab file and click on it, it will install itself.. soft reset and you're good... alternately you can download the cabfile straight to your phone if you're browsing this forum using your phone.. then go from there.. basically you get the cab onto your internal storage and the click on it... everything else is gravy.

Thank you so much for the info. So I used my phone to download the cab. It's now in my storage, but when I click (single or double) on it nothing happens. What am I missing here?

Highlight the cabfile then use the center circle botton on the Dpad (OK/Enter) to exectue.
