@ Ex: what are your thoughts on the REAL TF3d now that you can play around with it?

Seriously though, every touchpad device I've ever had to use for an extended period of time was crap. (It probably also has to do with the fact that I'm in the desert and it is fairly dry here already.)
HAHA! The lotion comment was funny. You know.. I played with iphones and hate the fact that I cannot get precision because my fat fingers wont allow it. I rather use styluses honestly. Plus it makes me look smart. LOL

Real Tflo3d is really pretty good and responsive in my view. I played with the leaked on and that was half of what this is. SO i am very happy with this. And everything works soo well.

It works pretty good on my part. You might have alot of other programs running on the back hoggin up memory? Maybe? It works about 100% of the time. But I have only used it with opera for about 30 minutes.. so it might change.

Re: Diamond Thoughts.

Ok boys and girls. I am off to the mall to sport this baby! Actually to test out the battery. I will spend the whole afternoon at the food court playing with it and see what I come across. On a side note.. The camera is really good! Incredible close up shots!!!! I will report later!

Maybe I will hit the local Sprint store and show it off? Naww...... this precious is all mine! (Tear comes down eye)

Ohh! Before I leave. Here is a pic I took of my pet Sun Conure. Beautiful close up! Look at the colors and sharpness! I am in love with this thing!

I have had several phones that didn't hit their peak battery performance until I had used it for a couple weeks and gone through quite a few charge / discharge cycles. My Treo 700wx was the worst of them... horrible battery life for the first week but it slowly got better and I enabled some battery saving options (registry, disable bluetooth when not using it, back off the backlight a few notches when indoors, etc etc)

So take your first battery life estimates with a grain of salt...especially if you have your brightness cranked up and are using the screen a lot.

Initial impressions.....
Touchflo3D is laggy on the Sprint Diamond out of the box. My Mogul running nuerom3pre2 is faster with Touchflo2D and looks quite a bit better (other than screen res).

The lack of buttons is a dissapointment for WM6.1 as I am used to having Zapit assigned to my comm button on the Mogul to kill apps rather than pecking at the mini X in the right corner of the screen.

Onscreen Keyboard is about as responsive as PocketCM Keyboard on the Mogul.....hmmmm

The lack of accelerometer functionality in WM6 is another dissapointment. Only works in Opera and the little ball game.

The Red color is not bad, as it the feel of the back... better than what I would imagine the fingerprint magnet on the GSM version is like.

I would rate 4/5 for size, weight, looks. 2/5 for operation (compared to Mogul). 1/5 for buttons. 2/5 for screen size, 5/5 for screen res, 0/5 for operationality (everything stays open until you click the mini X button to close them one by one, causing the laggy phone to lag further).

This will need extensive ROM work to improve speed and responsiveness. The VGA screen is nice but really not enough to justify the purchase price.

I want my Mogul back with a MicroSD card, Rom updates and hope for a better device... oh yeah I have that already... the Touch HD. And I still have my Mogul... so I guess its goodbye Diamond.
