i think itll be a typical sprint release. A small few will be available for "business" customers the 2nd then 14th for telesales.

Does everyone think telesales is getting it on the 14th because all the stores have been told that is when they can direct ship? Am I stupid in saying its possible for telesales to order phones before the stores can direct ship them? Has anyone got confirmation about telesales on the 14th or just direct shipping from stores? Maybe they are the same....

yeah, i'm an advocate. the earliest everyone else will be able to get it is ordering it on the 14th. sorry....should've mentioned that.

ok this is CONFIRMED! Just talked to my boy at sprint. We have been friends for 10 years and he was at work when i called him.

it will NOT be the 2nd.. They would have the phone by now and they don't... people are being told the 2nd because there is alot going on on the 2nd, they are gunna put up like6 new phones or something like that, but not the diamond.

Sprint is getting shipments of the Diamond next week and they will launch the 14th or 16th.

Thus, my boy said "when i get the shipment, i will scan the phone. If a price comes up on the screen, it is yours before official launch. Then i will quit and go sell cars."

lol, BUT, selling cars ain't bad if you're good at it and at the right dealership.. one of my best buds sells infiniti's and made 60K his first year and is on the road to 75K this year...

I honestly think that we will see a Sep 2nd. I have been told over 5 times thru E-Care that the Sep 2nd is still the launch date. Last email was yesterday morning and it said that nothing has changed. Honestly I dont know who to believe but at least we know its September.

like i said, they would have the shipment by now.. i called 2 different stores that i have buddies at and nothing is there.. they usually get it 3-5 days before launch...
