I am on the phone with tele-sales and they are telling me the 14th of this month. They are saying it will be available in all Sprint stores. Here is what they are offering:

549.99

150 instant (new/ eligible upgrade)

50 instant rebate

100 mail in rebate

So the phone itself will be 350 out the door and 250 after the 100 mail in rebate.

so EVP took the diamond down because they put it up too early by mistake. if you pre-ordered one, you got in early.

by the time my rebate comes in the mail, i'll have a new phone lol i usually write off the rebates cuz they take forever (they say 4-6weeks... riiiight), then all of a sudden i have 100 bucks in my mailbox and i can go party lol

This is not a flagship phone. People who are interested in SmartPhones might research and find out about the phone on their own. I don't see Sprint spending a lot on this phone. They aren't subsidizing it any more or less than any other Smart Phone.

Actually, it is THE flagship Windows Mobile phone. So, I don't know if you meant that just Sprint isn't calling it their flagship phone (even though it is their most advance and most expensive one) but there is no other better phone available or will be available for the near future. Yes, iPhone has a bigger screen and the Touch Pro has a keyboard, that does not make them better or more advanced unless you like those features. They are still not as powerful as the Diamond.
