The reason the CDMA diamond is thicker than the GSM diamond is the extended battery coming by default (its the 1340 "extended" length battery in the box). The Pro includes that battery in the box as well, so the thickness should be exactly the same as the GSM version.

i think i will order an extended battery like a 3600mah that the mogul has. To me the 1340 is no extended battery. I just wish from the getgo that they would include the 3600mah or higher batteries as the regular batteries as that would save me money. for my touch i order 3 2400mah mugen power batteries and two 1880 htc batteries For my old mogul i ordered one 3200mah sedio extended battery and one 3500 extended battery and two mugen power 3600 mah batteries

Just got home from work, we just got our phone release info for September 2nd and there is no mention of the Touch. Maybe you'll get lucky and will be the 18th or so but sadly customer care doesn't get release info that far in advance.

LOL. I was wondering the same thing, this guys has hella batteries, and half of them are extended.
