Diamond Release Speculation Thread

sprint's version (if its the size of telus) looks noticable thicker than the common version of the diamond,i wonder if its because of battery size,and if so i wonder if people prefer a bulker build over decreased battery life. i own three batteries for my touch but i love the thin build. i wonder how much thinner sprint's version of the diamond will be compared to their verison of the pro, if they are around the same size then i assume people will just go with the pro for the keyboard if the sizes are similar.

The figures I heard for the Touch Diamond (CDMA) was 14mm, vs 12 for the GSM. Not a huge difference, IMO.

So I take it the Best buy 8/17 stock date never happened.. also the sprint stores closing on the 17th for training thing didn't mean anything for the diamond either...so I guess it's the 2nd like originally thought.. just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. Also is the touch pro coming out the same time.. or is that months down the road?

I can;t say anything much about the training... however, I will divulge it had nothing to do with the Diamond or any future device in any way. And from now on you're going to see HUGE changes in the Sprint retail locations.

I think I'll hold out for the diamond pro when it's released in october. I'm feeling that extra 256mb of ram and SD will be a major plus.
