OK Total Weirdness - Tried the IPOD headphones again this morning with the splitter and voila... they work. Have no idea why they wouldn't work last night...... BUT here's the thing.... I plugged in my USB to the bottom of the splitter WHILE I'm listening to the IPOD headphones and I LOST all my Internal Storage songs. I could only play the two tunes that come with the phone.

I suspect it's because I connected to USB as a drive and now ALL the internal stored files are inaccessable on the phone. I think I ran into this before when I tried to install a CAB that I had just transferred over. I had to sever the connection first and then all was OK.

As for ActiveSync, don't get me started. I still have yet to get my Hotmail pushing email at me or syncing in any way. I set it up initially and got all my contacts (I keep them all in one Hotmail account so I can get them anywhere on any machine), but now the email won't update with new messages. My Rogers account is fine and I get new emails whenever I ask for a sync.

Hi Guys Yesterday night I tried to unlock my touch and this is the story.Unlocked the phone seems OK
2-Tried to downlod the rom 1.08
3- was not able to when in the % was not starting to download.
4-Though it was not unlocked;retried to unlock
5- Retried to download Rom1.08 and now it was downloading until I arrived at 81% at thattime received error 302
6-Now when I open turn on the phone I see The touch Diamond with all the little red info at the bootom but it is not booting;like if i dont have a complete ROM downloaded.

7- Now i made a reset and i am back in the bootloader and this is what I see

Securyty unlocked

Diam500
SPL-0.57.000
MicroP-Diam (Led) vB
Psoc-DiamStage_EVTv20

Serial

Can somebody with great knoledge Help me PLease I am really Stocked

If you actually look at the linked pictures you'll see that you're not unlocked. Download the unlocker again from the first page of the tutorial thread and follow those instructions.

When I try to unlock again it goes to the place where we can see % loading but it gives a error262 not downloading anything.Isthere a way to reset everything?

Guys ive been doing ALLOT of playing with gps the past few days. and reading the GSM diamond threads.

im getting the least amount of lag and the best accuracy ive seen so far by DISABLING A-GPS with Advanced Config v3.1

yes thats right by disabling a GPS it relies strictly on the hardware gps. which is more accurate then A-GPS it seems. with Quick GPS you see no lag in locking sats. so A-GPS is no needed and can be shut off.

Give it a shot it may work for you. more input on this would help.

Hey guys, first time poster here.. Just got my Telus Diamond..
Long story short, I followed the unlocking guide to a t, but just after the tri-band screen appeared(I did not get a progress bar)... my computer bsod'd w/ irq less then or equal to zero.. Has this happened to anyone else? Ideas? Thoughts?

your device is in boot loader mode. restart the update utility and try again leave it in the boot loader.

Okay, I've managed to get into boot loader mode and not have my pc crash.. is the RUU program supposed to fail? It says to go through these recovery steps...remove battery for 3 sec, reinsert.. etc.. maybe I'm impatient? How long does the device take to reboot when in boot loader mode?

what does your boot loader screen say. and the ruu updater shouldnt crash your pc. sounds like ur pc needs a tuneup.

did you restart the update proses like i told you too. just leave it in boot loader mode and try flashing the unlocker again.

It's cool now, thanks Juggalo. Mentioning that I could run the ruu in the bootloader helped me out, as well as some extra patience. I now have Juicy 1.09 up and running, absolutely blows the stock rom out of the water.
