The reason for this is that it can be detrimental to the battery to be on a constant charge. Therefore, when the battery hits 100%, it will slowly discharge until it hits 90% and then will begin charging back up to 100%.

That makes sense. I shut my phone off in the morning and then let it sit again until the led is green again and then turn it back on.

im pretty sure developers are waiting for HTC to release a Froyo Kernel before the release anything. And we will need a Radio for our device. Until these things come along, you likely wont be seeing any roms for our phone other than modified stock roms. Oh, but the good news is, Cyanogen says the desire guys are working on our 2.2 rom with the new kernel they magical acquired, and it will be here soon. So keep an eye out for CM 6 (or whatever the current revision number is) for the CDMA Desire, aka the BravoC

Re: USCC Desire

Use VISIONary + to temproot, then Titanium Backup to remove the crapware you don't want, works great and you don't have to worry about not being able to upgrade when they actually release 2.2. VISIONary + allows you to root for the duration of the session, when the phone restarts, it is back to normal.
