Does anyone encounter their phone only charging to 96 to 97 percent after a whole night of charging?

All the time. But I can plug it in later in the car or at the house and it makes it to 100%

The reason for this is that it can be detrimental to the battery to be on a constant charge. Therefore, when the battery hits 100%, it will slowly discharge until it hits 90% and then will begin charging back up to 100%.

That makes sense. I shut my phone off in the morning and then let it sit again until the led is green again and then turn it back on.
