Use VISIONary + to temproot, then Titanium Backup to remove the crapware you don't want, works great and you don't have to worry about not being able to upgrade when they actually release 2.2. VISIONary + allows you to root for the duration of the session, when the phone restarts, it is back to normal.

have a HTC Desire that had 2.1 on it stock out of the USCC box..just did the 2.2 froyo(thru uscc) update and it sucks..very glitchy..even the orientation is thrown off and my pictures are blurry..anyone have any ideas?? my phone is completely stock..any one have any froyo updates that work good..an idea to get me off this crap??maybe get rid of uscc software all together and just have a 2.2 rom??thanks

run unrevoked on your pc then follow instructions

after that make a backup and flash otherwise you could build your own rom without the apps.

Im pretty sure thats the only way your getting rid of the bloatware
