Re: Whose getting it?

I've held out for WP7 for a long time...Android has been looking tempting being that CDMA versions wont release until next year. If I do go WP7, the 7 Pro is the device I'm considering the most...although the HD7 looks tempting as well...I can admit to being a Fanboy for HTC & M$, but maybe its time to consider other options.

Re: Whose getting it?

Alright so rumors peg this device for next month. Who's in? After some consideration I am still onthe fence but I'm leaning toward getting it because I'm tired of the bugs in my TP2 and I want a WP7 phone. However, I'm just afraid that another better device will be released soon afterward. I REALLY hope this isn't the only launch device but if so then it may be the only option on Sprint for over a year knowing their release cycle which is like2 devices per year.

Re: Whose getting it?

I had been a Microsoft Mobile fan for years.

There are more software for Android because this OS is not new. WP7 is new OS.

I have not seen any GPS program made by TomTom, Garmin, etc that is used on the Android.

I dont know if TomTom, Garmin, etc is going to announce any GPS program for the WP7.

Re: Whose getting it?

im curious to know why you are so worried about whether or not there will be non data GPS programs for wp7. you have posted in many threads and articles about it. where do you go that doesnt have coverage? when i was in metro atl last april i was getting a great signal on my old TP which had a weaker antenna than the TP2.

Re: Whose getting it?

I'm without a doubt ready to get an upgrade to my TP2, but feel that I wouldn't use the majority of it's key features: Zune (have an iPod), XBox (have a PS3), and Netflix (just cancelled). I'd really like an upgrade but not sure if this will make me drop my ever s beloved TP2

Re: Whose getting it?

Yes, I am really torn myself on what to do. I have an upgrade that from what what I understand I will lose in April. So if I dont upgrade now I will have to wait till december. My touch pro 2 is still working pretty well, tried the android thing, its ok. Windows seems to suit me better. I guess I have a few more weeks to decide.

Re: Whose getting it?

No 4g no care

Really sucks cause that's the only thing that would keep me from getting this phone.

ask urself would 4g really be the way to go right now with the way sprint and clearware are having their drama and only have 4g in limited areas .. wouldn't be so bad if they'd just branch out but hey it's a windows phone maybe they have something in the works later down the line who knows nothing ruled out yet ...
