I want to fondle the phone first before I buy it.

I sent HTC an email asking them if the phone would have a TFT or SLCD screen, here is their response.

I would never get a brand new phone at the Sprint store.

The reps is going to open it up, put fingerprint all over it, put the battery in, put more fingerprint all over it again, and hand it over to you! They need to activate it at the store.

I am ordering mine online.

Store manager told me I can walk out with it sealed and he will make any account changes. I told him I was going to do an ESN change to cascade down my TP2 to my other line as well. He said I could do it all outside the store. I have his card with appointment info on Sunday the 20th @ 1PM for picking it up.

I've already pre-ordered 2. The wait has been killer. I refuse to use GSM, and life without Windows Mobile/Phone has been nerve-wracking.

Why do you refuse to use GSM?

The wait is not a killer. There is not much app for this phone at all like all in one chat program Trillian or non-data GPS program. None.

What is the retail of this phone w/o contract?

lol must be .. i didn't pre order cause i wanna wait and see how long my tp2 holds out b4 i switch to the arrive dont get me wrong i like the new os but i'm not ready to pay the $10 add on
