Re: Touch pro 7 (touch pro 3 but rename) EPIC FAIL

finally moved thanks. as for the no 4G i don't really care about.that as it still isn't available in the chicago suburbs where i live yet meaning ill only have the 4G speeds when im in school and commuting home and all the things i do on my tp2 while commuting dont really require 4G and im also not too happy about having to pay an extra $10 as im currently unemployed.

Re: Touch pro 7 (touch pro 3 but rename) EPIC FAIL

also it should be noted that the specs are also similar to the upcoming HD7(cept smaller screen and keyboard) so once again i don't see what the fuss is about. once the HD7 is released we'll have an idea of how this will perform.

Re: Touch pro 7 (touch pro 3 but rename) EPIC FAIL

No 4G is enough to make me skip it. The Epic 4G is a sweet phoen and my wife loves it. The Screen is to die for and I was really hoping to jump from my TP2 to a TP3 (TP7) with WP7 on it. I'm going to skip this device.

Re: Touch pro 7 (touch pro 3 but rename) EPIC FAIL

Honestly I think its a Near perfect device. Its still a mm less thick then the current TP2. From the speed ive seen on WP7 the OS wont really need a faster processor as of yet. There is already talks of sprint pulling a T-Mobile and springing for a 16GB model. The screen size is the same as the Original TP2 which to me is just fine (most people cant tell the difference till you get to a 4" Display and to me the facinate and epic are hard to pocket.) The screen still tilts and the device has weight to be able to sit the device down with it tilted without it falling over dispite its HUGE keyboard layout.

I always thought my TP2 was near perfect (having tried nearly all devices the only one that really came close was the epic) but I wished it was faster with less crashes on a cool OS. This is the exact answer to what im looking for without giving up the tilting screen and awesome keyboard.

I dont have 4G in my area and probably wont get it for awhile anyways so that part to me wont matter.

per HTC.com it will be a world device with GSM and CDMA banding included.

What people are afraid is they get this and 31 days later they release a better one with the new chipsets...since the new better chipsets are already out and in phones.

How does a TP2 fit and a fasciante doesn't? A fascinate is only a few millimeters wider but 2x thinner...so it should generally fit :/

Doesnt that happend most of the time anyways? We have recently been FLOODED with so many new devices that people now more than ever are confused about what to buy. Im not saying people should get the phone if something is better for them but I dont see why people would call other phones a "Epic Fail" just cause its not what they want.

The Fascinate is 5 MM wider and 9 MM taller than the TP2. Due to my job's clothing requirements my clothes are normally abit fit. That to me makes a bigger issue with sitting with it in pocket or trying to remove it from my small pocket openings. The TP2 seemed to fit better with the worst of it being a buldge due to the thickness and weight. Again this is just to me but for others who wear baggiers clothing or jeans this probably wouldnt matter nearly as much.

Yes, but lets look back..when Nexus One came out..snapdragon was king..so in the foreseeable year it should still stack up to the other devices. 500mhz phones such as TP were also like that..when you ALREADY have better hardware devices out in the market..it pretty much makes it 100% that its going to be beaten within a short period of time. Not to mention, when this is gonna come out its gonna be a month or 2 before its out to face EVO 2 or Epic 2 or another WP7 device...

Well I was thinking since its thinner it would make up for that,...but I guess in certain type of cloth it won't :/
