I'm in the same boat. My phone's a little jacked up, but I only have the replacement insurance.
I'd like to know if anybody called and got the 6800 through Assurion. If so, can you please provide details?

My usb port went out on my 6700 today and it was replaced with another 6700. I begged for a Mogul. Lucky you.!!! I wish I had your luck. I am on my 7th replacement. I am so tired of the 6700. I could scream

Today, Sprint approved replacement of my 6700 with a refurbished 6800.

I brought the phone to the store because "somehow" the 'M' button fell off of the keyboard. Since I have the technical assurance coverage (or w/e it is called) they told me they have a refurbed 6800 being shipped to the store, call in 3 business days and bring in my damaged 6700 for swapping.

I had craced the screen on my 6700 - purchased from ebay - and they replaced it with a refurbed 6700... it's good to have the total equipment protection. This was an authorized seller/ repair shop not a corporate store so that might have had something to do with it. So far I've been happy with the refurbed one - once I put WM6 on it anyhow.

And was not happy. What could you do? I asked. They put me on hold and came back and said my brand new mogul would be there Fri Nov 2nd. And sure enough it arrived )

They are still replacing it.
My 6700 was constantly freezing so I turned it into the Sprint store. I came back an hour later and was told they couldn't fix the 6700, so they are giving me a NEW 6800!!!
Pretty cool, just have to pay $35 for the replacement or something.

When I purchased my 6700, I knew sometime in the future I was going to get a 6800. So I bought a 2gb MicroSD and got a MiniSD adapter. So now I dont have to buy another memory card

^ That's too bad... you should have held out for the NanoSD card coming out in a couple of weeks, or the PicoSD card coming out in a month or so! Sucker.

well I went to the sprint store today because my phone has had the "stuck on splash screen" problem every 2 weeks for the past 2 months. I even took it in with a custom WM6 ROM and they are getting me a 6800 by Friday. So I'll probably flash it back in the parking lot before I turn it in. so in south Austin, they are upgrading.
