SDHC support with WM6? - Page 6

Seems to not work for everyone. I have done this to three of my phones, and to a couple phones for people i work with and so far so good. Hopefully Helmi has seen this and is able to make this more stable and incorporated into the WM6 Kitchen.

anyone tried a 6GB SDHC card yet? I need to know if those work because I want to buy one.

Running this with Toshiba 4GB Minisd SDHC, no problems sp far.

Can't wait to hear if the 6gb works. Purchased a 4gb 2 weeks ago from flashmemorystore.com WARNING everyone.... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.... I usually do my homework (i.e. at least a quick google search) on a company before purchasing. Got lazy this time and didn't... Still waiting for it to magically appear at my door or for an email to be answered...lol. Anyway, it was a standard minisd and hopefully with these drivers, obsolete anyway...

After installing the drivers and mounting the storage card with WM5torage, I get unrecognized device when I plug the phone into a computer. This program worked fine with WM6 before the SDHC driver.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ok, guess some tweaking to the drivers still needs to be done, I am beginning to experience my standard SD card disappearing. Wonder if this would not be happening if it was an SDHC card. Anyone running an SDHC card experiencing the card dropping?

May have spoken too soon about flashmemorystore.com. They were unresponsive and a bit slow, but I did in fact receive my order today. Still, after reading all the complaints about them I do not know that I would use them again.

So it's been about a week since this topic has been out. What is your experiences? Lockups? Dropped cards? Corrupt file systems?

I had to format both of mine the other night after spending a few hours of troubleshooting to find out why my storage cards weren't showing up on my phone but they would in Windows. I thought I had hosed my card reader in the phone with the new driver. I don't think I have reformatted any of them so far so it might have been about time but they both died at the same time.

My phone just stopped reading my card, I am sure is corrupted file system. Worked ok for a week and intermitently for another week.
