My girlfriend has an S9 and I didn't like how hard it was to put on/take off, but I only tried it once, I was never a fan of behind the ear so..., Oh Well we shall see how it works
Keep in mind the 855 is an in-ear design, so if you don't like the rubber "plugs" inside your ear canals, you might not like the 855. I have an HT820, but only us it for music on the plane. I found the stereo sound better than the Plantronics.

I've had several mono BT headsets (I'm very picky about sound and comfort). Here are my thoughts on the hands free sets I've tried:

I just traded my Jawbone for a BlueAnt Z90. So far, this has been my all-time favorite hands free. I loved the sound with the Jawbone, but it was a little bulky and uncomfortable for my taste (it was bought to replace a lost Jabra JX-10). The BlueAnt is extremely small and light and, like the JX-10, can be worn VERY comfortably without the ear clip. I find it a huge step up from the JX-10 in sound and the noise suppression is almost as good as the Jawbone. Plus, it's much smaller than the Jawbone, so it's a big winner for me.

As for the HS-850, I had one for a long time. I had to have it replaced once because the rubber piece around the speaker fell off, then the same thing happened to the replacement. Sound quality was okay, but a horrible fit on the ear, IMO. There are many much better units out now.

BlueAnt Z9.

Better than Jawbone--both in size (smaller) and noise cancellation (much better).

The ability for to update the firmware (up to v3.3 now) is a bonus and should be on all high-end BT headsets to quickly address inadequacies or compatibility problems.

The auto force-reconnect issue also ensures that you'll never loose your pairing.

Great review. I especially like the "dork factor" comment... =D>

I meant Z9 (not Z90) in my post above... but I agree, this is a fantastic hands free unit.

The comfort is an added plus. I wear mine without the ear clip. It is very stable worn that way and I hardly even know it's there (I sometimes forget and enter the dork realm, by leaving it on at home or in the office...).

My only complaint is that I keep changing noise isolation modes instead of hanging up (I'm still used to the way my JX-10 worked).

I have now decided to buy a new BT Headset and wanted to ask you all whats the best one out there?

Thanks
I also had used the Motorola HS 850 for over a year, and was not happy with the quality. I have since switched to the Blue Ant Z9. It has voice isolation technology, which eliminates most back round noise. I am very happy with it.

Thumbs up Z9 Rocks!!

Another thumbs up for the Ant Z9, tried most of the previous top units and this is the best so far. Another nice thing about it is that it works with the jabra earbud. Just unscrew the earbud that it comes with. Get rid of the earloop too.

I've had the Plantronics 640 for about a year, and can't say that I'm all that impressed with it. It frequently drops its connection with my phone, and will not connect again until I delete it and pair it again. Lucky for me, it fell out of my pocket in a client's parking lot and I ran it over with my car.

I ended up buying the Jawbone direct from their website for $89.99 after a 25% off coupon and free shipping (PM me if you want the promo code.) It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I'll report back once I try it out. I hate that it's monstrous in comparison to the 640, but hopefully it will be more reliable than the 640.

after a lot of trial and error, including the Jawbone, i ordered the Samsung WEP410 for around $60.

it's tiny, plugs into the ear, and uses a charging case. it has no earloop, but it plugs in well enough, and it's light enough that it stays put.

my A#1 priority was the ability to hear, and I really needed something that plugged and isolated my ear so i could hear well enough. This one fits the bill to a T, and the mic works well enough. i'm sure there is background noise, but I can talk over it. But if I can't hear, it's useless.

In all, I'd recommend it if you like the in-ear design.

Although the 815 looks -very- interesting.

Trust me, in-ears are the best.

You'd like the 815 & the 855 even better. IMHO its better in 855 since you have the ex-bud= AD2P so you can hear them in stereo, without looking like Optimus Prime in the attempt.

Just have to watch it because you won't be able to hear whats going on around you.

does the 815 have an earloop?
my wep410 works real well, but it weighs like 7g, so it stays put well, but the 815 looks a bit bigger.
it definitely looks more like what i would like for an upgrade.

but i definitely agree, if you can stand the way it feels, in-ear works so much better, especially since i drive a noisy truck.
