The cabs that need to be deleted for text messaging to work correctly are the PP_LockUp_Apac_212705.sa.CAB and thePT_Ril_Apac_206301.sa.CAB. But if you are running this rom just soft reset before the customization starts

You should be able to get the image links from there, or just bookmark it in your browser.
OK, now that I am on my PC and can investigate the page source for the above site, I can tell you that this image works for me:

http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/paw/ra..._anim_none.gif

To get the correct image link, you need to go to the page that contains the image you want and then edit that URL slightly, like this (using Wisconsin as an example)

Page URL:
http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/paw/us...anim_none.html

(EDIT: sorry if anyone tried this earlier, I fixed the instructions)
Edit the URL to include the directory "radar" after "paw" (paw/usmw becomes paw/radar/usmw) and then change ".html" to ".gif", so you get this:

Image URL:
http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/paw/ra..._anim_none.gif

Haven't tried all of them, but the two that I did try worked fine.

Vibrate not happening with SPB phone tools installed

Thanks to all for such a super rom, I have a wee problem.
I have noticed that the vibrate ringer is not working with SPB phone tools installed.

Anyone else had this happen.

Just finally got to build a rom with this 1.04 kitchen... there are new problems with SPB Diary and Pocket Plus on this kitchen. I am going back to the old version of SPB Diary to try see if the problem persists. What is happening to me is that once I add the SPB Diary tabs to Pocket Plus I get all sorts of strange errors... first the Diary tabs appear to add fine in Pocket Plus options, but when I go back to the Today screen they disappear. At this point the Start Menu gets screwed up and I cannot access the Programs folder (all I see are the MSN apps) and Settings is no longer there either.

I tried to soft and hard reset, but the problem did not go away. Will go back to the old OEM version for now.

Read the log file here: \Helmi_APAC_Official_AKU3.5_Kitchen_1.0.4\temp

It should tell you the app that it crashed on. From there it should be pretty simple to figure out the problem.

I corrected this problem by moving back to the 1.03 ROMs OEM of SPB Diary.

SPB Diary did not change between 1.0.3 and 1.0.4, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

I don't have SPB_Diary installed, and I see the same problem after viewing SPB_Plus's today fetaure options (didnt' even change them).

How to reproduce:
  • Go to settings for Spb Pocket Plus
    Highlight Today Plug-In
    Push Feature Options
    select Appearance Tab
    Exit out of everything.

Edit: Spb Pocket Plus included in the 1.0.4 kitchen definitely has problems - it even causes weird issues with other unrelated software packages. Reverting to Pocket Plus from the prior kitchens resolves the issue.
