Time Sync w/Mobile Network is not set. Just go to Settings--> Phone--> Services--> Time Synchronization--> Get Settings and select the checkbox.

That's not the issue. Mine is set properly. The problem is that after a soft reset, the time reverts back to the hard reset time -- 2/1/06, 12:00am. For some of us, it takes much longer for the phone to automatically sync with the network. In my case, it seems like anywhere from 20s to a few minutes... or more. Soft reset should revert to the correct time...

I ran into an issue last night, and I ran out of time before I could research it more, but as soon as the phone boots up (after resetting at the 3 second countdown) I get "No Service". As soon as I go back to 1.0.2 with pretty much the same build (programs and such) everything works fine.

Any Alltel users (Answerman, CaptainJager?) run into this? I'm going to start over with a new build today and just leave all the optional folders in and see what happens.

spb weather

I'm still having an issue with spb weather. I'm running 1.03. I made my own spb weather oem without the provxml file. Last night, it was working great. This morning when I turned on my phone, I get the same issue with the forecast not showing up in the spb mobile shell tab. I tried running spb weather as a today plugin and have the same problem. I get the icons for the forecast but the actual temperatures are not showing. The wierd thing is when I click on the icon I get the popup with the day's temperatures. But the temperature doesn't show up in the 5 day forecast. I wonder if this is a conflict with the new rom because 1.02 didn't have this issue. Is anybody else having this problem?

Pocket Diary? GPRS Monitor?

Hey Biglcny, this is really great work. Do you know if anyone has made OEMs for Pocket Diary or GPRS Monitor?

THanks

Did you use the blank ms.nbk when you flashed your phone. I'm on alltel as well and don't have to soft reset afte hard reset. Make sure you check on the alltel in carrier section of build os. I get service within 5 secs of hard reset.

I haven't moved up to 1.0.3 yet (1.0.2 has been perfect for me so far) and have been waiting to see what bugs you guys find with 1.0.4 and the inevitable 1.0.5.

I do remember this happening with the old 3.5 kitchen once when I inadvertently left Sprint selected in the carrier ROM. Only thing I can suggest.

BTW: I would back up everything in your extended ROM to your computer and them unlock it and delete everything in it. That way you won't be bothered with the 3 second countdown, and you get that extra 9.9MB to install programs in post-flash. You just want to make sure you have the ext ROM files in case you ever need to revert to factory (in the event you lose your backup, I uploaded them to the FTP a while back, plus I have a backup as well).
