Can't seem to get MMS working. When sending out, it keeps failing and asking to retry. Happened on mine and my bf's phone. Any idea why? We've both just upgraded to the 3.5 Final ROM. This is using PPCGeeks version of the MMS program.

restore from spb backup question after rom update

Colonel,

I use and love your roms. Right now I'm on the older 3.5 Sprint version you did awhile back. If I update to your final version can I restore from my spb backup without losing anything from the new rom. Or would I need to re-install all of my software again?? Sorry about the newbie question. I think I already know the answer but wanted to know for sure.

Because there are very minor changes you might be able to do it.

I just created a ROM using the 3.5 Kitchen and your Sprint add-in. Is there a way to save the settings for O2 that I have so far so that I don't have to redo all the tabs/arrangements and settings?

And can anyone tell me what the \Tao folder is within \Application Data ?
Is it something Zen?

Stupid question: where is fashlight software?
It's assigned to softkey by default but after changed softkey definition I can't find it under \Windows or anywhere else.

It should be in \Windows.
It's called VJCandelaLite.exe.

Trident, the Tao stuff is for Midlet Manager. For some reason, I think I had to keep it in that folder. Maybe not.

You can save your O2 settings by dumping the reg and copying the user settings to either your O2 OEM or a customize OEM. If you do a customize OEM, make sure it runs last. The settings will be here:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\O2\O2PLUS]

Dunno, first I have heard of something like that. Have you added anything that could affect the notifications? Resets are always an option.
