BigJ's Revision 1.6u (FINAL!) ROM updated: 5/22/07

After install of the 1.5u -g ROM I had several lockups when I reset. I finally got the message "do you want PhoneAlarm to be disabled on next reset" i said yes, and restarted fine. Since that i have soft reset twice with no issues.
BT and PA is working, paired to 2 headsets, turning it off and on. All Good

I did install the Metroid theme pack (love that), but other than that I'm running the stock 1.5u- g ROM. I can't imagine switching to a different ROM now, as JB has everything included that I run. NICE!

for the first startup screen, why not make it a base nintendo themed, then we can change the theme pack for the second boot up screen and sounds and such. Kinda like if you were powering on a gaming console you always see the make of the console first then the title screen for the game?

So I was excited to hear this because of the corporate sms I get all day long. During configuration I noticed it did indeed have sms support, but only through pOutlook. Is there any way you could either add the profile in PA or find a way to create custom sms ringtones without PA.

Preliminary reports are positive from my end: Both 1.3b2 and 1.5b have allowed me to access all alarms I get, and bluetooth behaves perfectly for me. I haven't had to recreate my SSID for my work Wifi all day either.

Very happy - and I love the new Sonic flavor!

I noticed a post about Voice Command with this ROM. I have the same issue with it not announcing over the headset. Is there a solution to this?

It works fine, its not the ROM, its more than likely your headset. In the past just reinstalling VC *sometimes* fixes the issue, but youll probrably need a new headset... the older ones i test dont always work, but our newer headsets all work

Ok so I looked up another program that is supposed to change incoming sms sounds. But yet again doesnt work due to pOutlook problems. Is there any way to make The new sms app "think" it's pOutlook.
