It's a little tricky to find the .cab for it, but it's out there... anyway the install for it is probably no larger than the pdf viewer yer already using - perhaps you can kinda kill two birds with one stone here....

http://www.mobiletopsoft.com/board/2...ws-mobile.html
looked at it, it sux ballz, thank you for playing....

on a more serious note, the thing cant open any of my PDF's without giving me at least 2 "Out of Memory" errors. When i open a small document and page search to the middle or something not only do i get the error, but then i get an OCX APPLICATION FAILURE and the page wont load. When i surf the net with it, there is no simple way to go back and forward...... I did however LOVE the options interface, i really like the fluidity of resizing documents and web pages. I enjoy how it gathers and navigates through links.

unfortunately with the crashing on PDF's and the NUMEROUS out of memory errors, and the straight up crash on page searching, i cant integrate this and tell you guys its stable. Its a novelty application at best and needs a lot more work before i would reccomend it as a PDF or WEB browsing replacement.

Thanks for the insite on today agenda ... cannot afford the crash and if you say it sux ...it sux ...

I do enjoy having a weeks worth of calendar in a small confined place.

Think I'll give pocketbreeze a try.

JBabey How about Birthdays today plugin ? By same guys who give Batti for free as well.

It's a very neat little plugin (~ 70KB) total size.

http://pda.jasnapaka.com/birthdays/

I keep only this one on the Today screen.... even though I have paid for many a today plugins to show all appointments in the last 8 years that I have been using a Pocket PC, I ended up using only this one plugin to view only Birthdays and Anniversaries.

Just an update...

Ok, here's what's been happening lately. I noticed the BT issue. Tried to turn BT on, it didn't work. Went to BT Settings to setup my BT GPS, checked the box to turn it on, went to the next tab, searched for the GPS, didn't find it. Back to the on/off tab, it wasn't checked now. Got out and went to Comm Manager, tried to turn it on there and it still wouldn't come on. Reset the phone and it worked fine after that. Weird. Phonealarm is also working now for some reason. I don't get it. I used my BT GPS to make a 4 hour trip and it worked fine. It also let a call come through without crashing. I don't have a BT headset yet, so I can't test that out. I want to get a stereo one, but haven't really seen one I like yet.

Back to Phonealarm, maybe 1.58 would be the way to go until they get 1.6 finalized. Can you put the full one in instead of lite? I like the feature that allows you to turn set a time limit for the data connection. I really helps conserve battery power.

I tried Picsel Browser and I agree with Big J. It has a cool interface, but isn't a great browser replacement. Fun to play with though.

Overall I'm still very impressed with this ROM.

Big J, if you want to set it up with 1.58, I'll try it. It might be Monday or Tuesday before I get to give you any feedback though.

Edit: I also wanted to mention that my MMS is working fine. I skipped the customizations from Verizon, but used the cab that was provided in the ROM for Verizon users. I haven't any trouble with MMS or SMS.

Thanks,
Dan

JB... would you recommend us Verizon users to bypass the extrom install on hard reset and only install the MMS cab (and wireless sync for me) as stated above? I know Sprint users have been doing this by installing your ROMs for srpint, and I also know you have been asking some Verizon user to create a modded extrom... but until that happens will soft reseting prior to extrom be your advice to run as clean as possible?
It never fails, right when I get my phone running very close to great, I think up some reason to re-flash it.
btw.. the Metroid theme... mint. Loved the game(s), love the sounds and boot screens.

There are only 3 or 4 cab files that you *MUST* run for vzw. One creates your #777 connection, another allows the ## codes to work, and the 3rd i believe is your IOTA options (wich you dont need once the phone has been programmed and working). And finally the picturemail.

If you dont know what you are doing, i would just reccomend deleting the "known" junk cabs, and I would OVERWRITE your arcsoft mms install cab with vzMMS-Registry.CAB (name the vzMMS one the same as your arcsoft and overwrite it).

Thats it, dont forget to unlock the ext.rom with the shortcut under programs 1st.
