if you edit it on your phone, then just change the extension, double click (it will open in MS Word) save it, but do NOT save as Word format when it asks, then change the extension back.
OR Use activesync to transfer it to your PC. Open it in notepad, edit to your heart's content, save, transfer back.

v1.9 is the most stable one I released, but andason has incorporated that stable code into his new releases. You definitely want to go with the latest version. We aren't just releasing them for new features, but also stability fixes.

@KidGixxer: Thanks for the source! I'll try to take a peak at it, but it looks like in the interim the original coder of the app as implemented many if not all of the features I had wanted. @andason: Thanks for all of the updates and for keeping this project moving. I will do some battery usage tests with the newest beta today and post back with results. |

Just installed the newest beta. I am also seeing a slowdown in the slide unlock text animation as well as jerkiness in the slider. Also (and this may just be because of the background) the text is very hard to read. Its hard to describe exactly how the text looks but the closest way I can describe it is white text with a broken black border around it (like you went in paint and zoomed in and deleted random black blocks from the border).
Ill do some battery testing in a minute and post back. |

Alright as promised here are the results of my testing. I had my EV-DO data connection on but I was not sending/receiving any data. My backlight was set to 2 ticks from the right.
1. Backlight and data on, slide off ~90mA 2. Backlight and data on, slide running ~250mA 3. Backlight off, data on, slide off ~50mA 4. Backlight off, data on, slide running ~200mA As you can see the device idles at about 50mA with no backlight and at about 90mA with backlight. The slider application is apparently using about 200mA. I have a Verizon xv6700 running Saridnour's custom 3.5+ rom. Side note: I also noticed that after I had restarted the app a few times to test it the slider animation appeared correctly and no longer had stuttering. |
