Well, almost a total re-write. A_C at arianesoft.ca did a lot of the work to make it faster, and andason helped me square my head on with our add-in code, and only 7.5 hours later... Now loads a LOT faster. Also has a slide.ini so that you can setup some of the options on the SlideLock. Launcher hasn't changed, but I will be doing some code optimization on it soon and expect to see a speed improvement after doing so.
ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....uncherv1.6.cab

Slide.ini options:
(default)
[Slide Config]
Date Format=dddd', 'MMMM d', 'yyyy (dddd is name of the day, MMMM is name of the month, d is day of month, yyyy is 4 digit year)
Time Format=h':'mm (h is hour, H is military time, mm is minutes, tt is am/pm)
No Animation=0 (0 keeps the animation on the slide, 1 removes the animation on the slide)
Close App=1 (uh, don't know...)

The close app = 1 will actually kill the app upon sliding the lock. At 0 the app will remain in memory for faster loading.

Sure, you can post it anywhere you'd like. After all, a bunch of it I ripped off from you!

Right now it is hard-coded in. Someday (probably not real soon) I'd like to make all of the different text fields selectable in the slide.ini.

slide lock with ilaunch

First, let me thank everyone. I've had the verizon 6700 for about 2 weeks and love this forum even if most (99%) is way over my head. I have ilaunch and would like to add the slide lock to it. Possible? I tried by installing Yuma's Launcher and removing the launcher program leaving only the Slider. Worked fine for a while then got several error messages (PPL?) and had to soft reset then removed program. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Running Sar's 3.5 p6

Hey fellers,

I was reading a post at arianesoft and successfully tied the start up of the slider to turning the power on (wake up) on the phone.

I used taskmanager - notifications, created a new notification which was pretty simple to complete. Browse to the slide file, choose on wake up as the event and save it.

Now, everytime I wake up the phone, the slider pops up... though a little slow.. it works.
