mn3kgtvr4: The soft reset bug should not have been resolved until pr6. The eralier roms did not have the init re-ordered. As to the SD dispaering, this would happen when some of the drivers were overwritten with those that ship in some extended roms. Do a search for the files that caused this as you should be ablt to just delete them. Also you may want to hard reset and see if it still seems sluggish. Some times I have noticed this with the same rom version but seeemed to run a bit slower/faster after a first boot. Believe it may be the first boot initalisation that could be suspect.
Boss_429:You could try sbsh pocket weather as this is what I use and like. I know it works without issue on this rom. Others have posted that weather panel does work so you may just want to re-install it over itself. tpearson: I do not have a BT headset to test. Is anyone else seeing this??? SportbikeRiderXX: no fonts were removed or changes. Actualy fonts were added. But what you are seeing is Cleat type as others had posted. I had them on in all areas and people complained so I reset it back to defaults (off). just re-enable it via the GUI or search the reg for cleartype and set all 0 to 1. bacspasm: Try opening the keyboard (landscape) and then hit the up arrow on the sip. This should show nullkeyb. Edit: I just tried this and it did not show up. Ill have to comp the buid when I get home to see if something is missing. PolloLoco: Read the first post about the A2DP fix as it details this change. I would just remove the min max setting and use the fixed value. I would go with 34 and see if that does it. Then just increase it until you have issues then step on back. When I turn on my BT Stereo headset, all sound is piped to it with the eception of calls (Calls still go to handset, ringer to bt) all other sound goes to the headset. This is actauly what I would expect as I would not want alarms and such going off (or even the ringer) on the handset whan I am listening to music an may not hear it. More so when I can walk away from the phone and leave it at the desk or charger. mattdb: I would do a hard reset, then put the phone right back into the bootloader. Download the PR6 build again and reinstall it (the latest build will not need the MUI fix cab). After installing make sure to hard reset and do not load the extended rom. See if this workls for you. If your still having issues, try another rom package and see if it is the hardware. Others seem to be getting this to work fine. It could be an issue with the package if someong haked it.. let me know what you find out and if I need to re-up the package. Bubblebreaker app, Is this working for anyone? It works for me but I am not on the same build as all of you. Can someone verify? I can reload the pr6 pakage if need be. -saridnour |

I thought the headset was supposed to remain dormant until a particular program was called out. My Jabra BT8010 is BOTH a normal mono headset, and a stereo headset. I leave my headset on standby, and when I want to listen to music - I'd connect the second earpiece. However, it sounds like that won't work with your A2DP setup. I'll probably only click on the stereo profile - when I actually want to listen to music. In which case - I hope the tweaks fix my cutout problems. Even if the bluetooth stereo doesn't work for me - thanks a lot Saridnour! You've made a great ROM. BTW - Bubblebreaker doesn't work for me either, but I could care less. |

saridnour-- Sorry, but I have to confirm mn3kgtvr4's observation about the soft reset bug. I've gotten frozen screens almost as often with pr6 as with pr5.
By the way, I mentioned in an earlier post that there is a wma plugin for Mortplayer. It works to a certain extent. If you open Mort and select the wma files, the files will play. However, there are problems with associating Mort with wma files. For one thing, my phone won't ring anymore, as the ring tones are wma file. Also, if you double click on the wma files, nothing happens. Another problem is that neither asx or pls streams from Orb will play. Says it's connecting, but it never does. Actually, asx files open in WMP instead of Mort even after assoicating both asx and wma files with Mort. None of this wma plugin business is a major concern to me as TCPMP and PocketPlayer work well with wma files and Orb. --jendand |

PolloLoco: I did not intend, but that is how I would see it work, at least for BT Stereo. Headset and Stereo are different profiles and even when I connect my BT stereo to my laptop using that profile I get system sounds through it as well. Also the profiles must determine if it is a VC/Phone control or an AVCR control as pressing the button can either be talk or Play depending on the profile. I was just saying it would make sense for it to work that way but I could be wrong. I did not make any changes to the way the BT worked in this respect and had always assumed it was as it should be since it made sense and worked the same from the laptop. Using it in the headset profile though I would not expect to hear system sounds and for most headsets, no sound goes to them other than call data or VC feedback. Again I do not have a headset to verify so I am just going off what I have seen and what limited testing I had done with one that I used for a day. I have tried one other A2dp device that chpped sound with large delays no matter what the quality or joint stereo setting so it does prove not all headsets are the same. But give it a low quality setting and see what happens you could also set use joint stero to 1 as well and see if it helps. I did make a bunch of changes to being able to control the audio quality to make WMP work, but did nothing to the actual BT stack or profiles. Glad you like the ROM outside of this issue
![]() jendand: I have not had one lockup after a soft reset.. humm any other things running at startup? I did test pr6 as to soft resets a number of times before posting it.. Ill load it up again and see what I find as I did make the one change. AS to Mort.. this is a beta build so I would expect to see a few things not work. I usualy stay away from betas as to embedding them but as to playing mp3's off the SD card it was so much better than WMP (do to the skipping) and TCPMP (becasue of the AVCR) that I had to include it. It just looks like it hijacks the WMA and casues issues like it's trying to play them but can't. Seems to be the same with having it asocated to mp3 and ringer selection. I also noticed if you have mort associted with .asx (ot TCPMP for that matter) that it will work with VC on the Play X so it looks like the plugin just creates an asx list and passes it off to whatever is associated with it. -saridnour |

I get occasional lock ups. It does seem that it always seems to lock when the device lock is active? Anyone else note this? |

pgdeaner/jendand/mn3kgtvr4: Can you all please post what is in your \windows\startup folder? Also anyone see this after a hard reset without loading anything else?
Thanks, -saridnour |
