if you're loading a backup of pim.vol from 2.x rom to 3.x rom it's not going to work..

you will need to do an activesync backup and restore from there..

If so, can I get rid of it somehow? It changes colors - but always seems to contrast with the screen, so it's not pleasant imo.

Also, I'm on Verizon - and after about an hour of trying, I can't seem to get a data connection. Everything was set up for me automatically before - and I did let the customizations run this time.
I'm using wisbar lite also and i don't have the problems you speak of, could it be something else, maybe a battery monitoring program you installed after?

And i didn't let the customizations run, i set up the connection manually and have had no problems.

BTW...Saridnour, thanks for that fix on the commanager, works great! And thanks again for an incredibly stable ROM! I have had zero lockups since around PR4!

I had the same problem with contacts disappearing as soon as I clicked - UNTIL I did a hard reset.

For some reason, it took a couple tries to get a hard reset - as opposed to a soft one. You'll know when it asks you whether you want to go back to factory settings - type Y on your keyboard.

Hmmm, I just ran wisbar lite and exited out - and the line at the top of thescreen went away - so I'm happy now. I'll live without that particular program. It was nice, however. Actually - I just realized it was the battery bar on wisbar lite - I haven't installed anything else.

Can you tell me how you manually set up the connection - if you have Verizon? I also realize that I had a voicemail notification before I flashed, and it appears to be gone now. On the brightside, my phone still seems to be working - so I'm not totally disconnected from the Verizon network.

If you go under connections, you'll go to...add a new modem connection...enter a name/use cellular line...#777 for the number...for username enter your name and leave the rest blank...hit finish...

You freaking rock! Thanks, I really appreciate the help! I guess when we update the rom - we lose the Verizon # codes. I've got to find the voicemail code as well, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Thanks again.

Isn't voicemail just dialing your own number?

You can also have wisbar run, just go to wisbar settings, click the battery tab at the bottom, and uncheck the display battery bar box...that way your unsightly bar will be gone and still have the functionality of wisbar...

I figured that out about wisbar. I'll play with it, see if it's something I want to use.

With voicemail, I realized I had a new voicemail message - but didn't get a notification on my screen. I'll play around with it, but I figure something's disconnected, or I have to type in a new # code.

Thanks for the help.
