Extended batteries -read before buying eBay!

Amazon.com isn't that much of an improvement over ebay. I bought an OEM BTR6700 1350 mAh replacement from them two months ago. It worked well until last week when in started draining quickly under load. I could have blaimed 6.1 like others have done, but since I have changed no software, that didn't seem likely. Instead I looked for a more logical cause. I found one - The battery pack has a May 2007 date code. The thing sat on a shelf for a year before being sold to me.
