"SEVERAL DAYS!!!" I've got the same battery, and I make it from 7 am to 10 pm with 40% left! Now moderate use may not be accurate in my situation, but wow I'd love to get even just 2 days!

several DAYS?!?! sign me up!
i found out real fast, if i accidentally leave BT on, or leave the internet/google maps on, hahahah, im in for a treat.. no batt left whatsoever. But its cool.
Currently im finding myself recharging twice a day right now, BUT thats because ive been on it all day for the past few and ive got the stock batt.

aside from that...
has anyone figured out how to stop active sync when you disconnect it?
i find it still running even after a disconnect. unless it has something to do with ilauncher.

man, this rom is kicking A$$! i bought ilauncher and pocketweather and this phone is running super smooth! Hats off to you jeff! Thanks for your work and support

To stop Activesync, use the "Running " program right soft key and highlight it and click stop.

What I meant by moderate use was to only run programs when I was actively using them, instead of letting them run in the background. I only run Google maps when I am commuting and then only at the beginning of my trip. I only run wifi or BT when I am on my network or using a BT device. It is a simple matter to start these up when needed and to stop them when done.

I don't often use it use as an all day MP3 player - although I do have Logitech BT FreePulse stereo headphones and have listened to them for hours at a time but I do not consider that moderate use.

I don't check my email every 10 minutes, or whatever all day long as I am usually near a computer.

The same for voice calls - I am usually near a POTS.

Anyway this new ROM is great.

I think I have almost everything working again. I am still have problems with SmartsKey (I moved it from the Ext'd ROM to main memory) and there is some other wierd behavior. For instance when I start a program like Google maps, the volume box opens up and the system volume marker rapidly drops from my usual max setting down to about 30%.

I have the same batt as all above and get 1 1/2 to 2 days on a charge and heres how

1. keep data connection turned off when not in use ( it only takes a couple of seconds to re-establish when needed )

2. keep backlight turned down to the bare minimum

3. Activ-Sync turn it off

4. dont allow E-mail to auto connect. check it when you think you might have some

5. only use BT and WIFI when needed they will suck the life out of your batt faster than my mother-in-law sucks the life out of me

these 5 simple steps took my batt usage from 6-10 hours to 1 1/2 to 2 days. infact after a 12 1/2 hour work day with moderate usage ( 30 to 45 min of talk time, 20 min of data connection, and checking E-mail 6-7 times) I still have approx 80% left over and can easily go another day to day and a half. hope this helps everyone out.

Hey man!
Thanks for the insanely awesome roms! I joined this forum to express my thanks.

To make it faster, I just disabled the menu and start menu animations, with Tweaks2k5, and now it opens almost way too fast. Also, I think I may also be having a battery issue, since talking on the phone with nothing else on for about 50 minutes brings my battery down from 80% to 30%. Well, its not too bad, since the rom's pros really make up for the battery life! Thanks!

Bluetooth not working

I used my bluetooth to connect to the internet. I have just the slow connection the regular vision plan and before the upgrade when my laptop searched for the phone it saw modem as an option. But now it only sees the phone but does not show any of the options available to use like file exchange, Modem ect... Is there anything I can do to get my phone to work as a modem again through bluetooth? I have a 6700 from sprint and I used "Clean and simple AKU 3.5 for the Sprint Apache". Other than this problem I love the upgrade and think it is 100x better. Thanks for all the hard work and help.

Ive found a small problem with this rom. When I start my WiFi connection to link up at home it shows connecting on the Wireless LAN page. It does in fact connect with my router and the connection is fine. It does not, however, refresh the Wireless LAN page to show that it has connected to the network. The only fields that show up are the MAC and IP boxes. The rest stay blank including the signal quality bar. The configure page does show that I have connected to that network.

Maybe this is related to the BT problem? Oh, on that, if I open the full connections page, the one you open with the icon at the bottom of the page my BT works np. It ony has issues if I try to use the Wireless Today screen item. Then it hangs and has all the problems that everyone has posted about.

Im not really compaining, I love this rom, Im just posting things that Ive found.

Thanks for the rom, Jeff. Loving it for the most part, but I am having an issue with adding programs, specifically Intellipad. I've tried to install it and tengo thumb, and although I can install and use Tengo Thumb with no problem, I can not use intellipad. It does show in the drop down list, but when I select it, the default keyboard pops up.

Any suggestions?

No idea about Intellipad or WiFi, as I use neither myself.
