I wrote earlier about how fantastic this is, but grumbled a little bit about the time consuming chore of having to reinstall all my programs - but that is so minor compared to the amount of work and testing and reinstalling that Jeff must have gone through to bring us the latest and greatest.
However, if I understand this post over at PDSPhoneHome correctl;y there is a new pre-release version of Sprite Backup 5.10 that may enable us to backup under the old ROM version and reinstall to the new one. http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...te-backup.html You can get the new Sprite backup program here: [/url]http://www.spritesoftware.com/downloads/SpriteBackupEnglishPersonal51Setup.exehttp://<br /> <br /> All the credi...<br /> <br />http://www.spritesoftware.com/downloads/GetUpgradeData2005.exehttp://<br /> <br /> in your devic...<br /> <br />http://www.spritesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2139&postdays=0&postorder=asc&star t=0http://<br /> <br /> Remember I ha... Sob I can't download the file yet. I'm running a Sprint aircard for internet access and when I try to download, after a minute or so, I get a response of either 'connection to server has been reset' or download has 'timed out'. Sprint Advanced Tech Support just helped reset my card, but still no go and says that PPCGeeks server must have a time limit. OK, no prob', I can go to Caribou Coffee this weekend and access their free wifi and download it then. But I have never been very good at delayed gratification.
Thanks anyway again Jeff-your 'followers' =D> really appreciate your hard work!

Arrggh... I just reset my device. Oh well, I'll install the updated one tomorrow! Jeff, so far it runs smooth! If I notice any problems that seem OS/ROM related, I'll post em here. Thanks for the hard work!

so are ya done uploading it? is this a huge difference from the old version u had up, the plain "clean & simple 3.5" - does the unified kitchen improve things that much? i never had BT issues... and i can't imagine you actually got it to run faster. tha'd be sick. i love it, thanks man. and don't use vista, that's my solution.
