I agree with Niagaboy, I too use freeware only in my phone and if I need to change I can allways buy it at a later date.

I love O2+ and my wife would kill me if I took it off of her phone (she likes the calendar display on the Today screen).

I would vote for a ROM with freeware only and as you know, I would like to have Cyberon Voice Command back.

May I also suggest that you add the E ten dialer as it has the larger buttons and a larger picture for those of us who would like to actually see who is calling.

Thanks again for all of your help.

I would like to see weatherpanel added. (sliingbox can stay in storage card) That is the only thing I need to reinstall and its a pain with the moonphase fix.

I dont need to buy more software. Thats my two cents.

I second the freeware ROM option. The only non-freeware software I have on my XV6700 right now is Weatherpanel and I cant even get it to work on AKU 3.3. I am about to download the new version of Saridnour's AKU 3.5 r4 ROM but he has some paid software on there like Voice command which I dont use so now I once I get the ROM installed I have to remove all the paid apps on there that I dont own or use. I love all the selections of ROM's people are cooking up with their tweaks and preferences but I would love to have one with only freeware apps (which there are tons of good ones out there) installed. If I had any clue how to do it I would cook one up but I am slowly learning all this stuff. But do want to say thanks to everyone who is making these ROMs and being so helpful with making our phones better.

I know, but I was running out of stuff to do. I will probably stick with what I have and just fix the bugs. Mostly I was adding stuff for my own benefit .

Aren't we getting a little greedy folks?

Why don't we all just appreciate what Colonel has done and be happy with that? I mean, how hard is it for us to execute the odd .cab file to install the few things the ROM doesn't already have?

Let's all raise a glass to Colonel!

Pocket BCM not working

I cannot get pocketbcm.exe to run in any of the aku 3.x versions. I have to use pocket business manager or at least have access to those contacts. Anyone have a suggestion? I love this cooked version, thank you. I get the following error. pocketbcm is not a valid pocket pc application

Colonel,
Sorry if you take Glossman's view about being greedy by asking about PocketPlus. Just offering up a good alternative that I use. As has been stated before, appreciate all your hard work and love your ROM's speed, apps and tweaks!

Glossman,
I understand you are new so you are not expected to know that it has nothing to do with simply executing a cab or two post hard reset. It is about the speed of recovery from a flash and also the fact that ROM installed apps don't use up the valuable storage space. NooB ignorance is so cute......

I appreciate what you're trying to do, and I do actually understand the nature of memory usage on a PPC device. I just feel like everyone is a quest for Colonel to their own custom ROM's.

As for your "NooB" comment, don't let the low post count fool you. I've been lurking long before YOU and I both registered for this site, so your ignorance is excused.
