Raging Idiot: Everyone wants a more responcive camera! One of the old most requested things. Just doesn't look to have come to pass. Oh and be nice to the wisbar dev

naigaboy: I would not coupy the vol files. I would just use activesync to do your backup or use the mail2web as mentioned above (I use this as well). Works great if you had to hard reset and needed your info back. You could also use spb backup and save them off to the storage card. Copying the volumes just sounds like a good way to hork things up when it really is not needed.

aughsum: All of the ## should work, but I have not tried them all. I just went down a limited list when testing as I hardly go into any of these. Only thing I ever change was the polling interval. If there are codes not working here that are in other 3.5 roms let me know and I will see what I can dig up on the issue.

D1zzl3: Still not sure wht I am going to do for PR6. I was thinking of just letting you all just install wisbar instead of re-packing it into a new rom unless I get more to go with it. I was going to hold back some changes, but then figure why? If there is a something that needs fixed, then I will probably do a new rom right out but I may just hold out for pr6 until it needs to be done.

yeah the codes arent working for me..

im trying ##313252#( my phone code, not sure if everyones is the same.
##778#, ##3282#

from the phone code program ##313252# works and takes me into the menu but the other two (which work on the unified prerelease) flash onto the screen then close. .. when trying to connect via #777 i immediately get cannot connect with current connection settings. besides these problems everything looks good.. im trying pr5 because MMS isnt working on the prerelease.

In another thread....Nizzo said:

I'm running my own ROM based of the last kitchen posted and the free version of OggSync works great.
It's unfortunate that OggSync doesn't work in this current 3.5.5 ROM.
Also tried GmobileSync. Get the same error, about Poutlook dependencis missing.... except OggSync also complains about the .NetFramework

Guess people will get disappointed down the road when they see how cool Google Calendar is and can't use it! My calendar links up to 7 of my Meetup.com activity groups and really helps to organize the various groups and scheduling.

Hopefully it's just the way I have my personal Google Calendar setup, and just specific to me, but everything on the phone itself is a perfectly clean out of the box system.

mn3kgtvr4: I have never seen this. Could be that something corrupted the package. Anyone else have this issue and recently downloaded the ROM, or anyone just downloaded and installed ok? Just need to know if I need to repackage it and up it again, but it takes about 15min to up and could mess up someones download so I don't want to send it unless I need to. Also try a hard reset prior to installing? Getting the error on the device or desktop? At what point do you see it?

aughsum: I know that ##778 works as well as ##debug. Are you on sprint? If so make sure to install the correct cabs from the extended rom. I think the IOTA's do it but donlt quote me Anyone else having issues with ##778?

Hi,

What's been people's experience with this ROM and bluetooth headsets?

I've been having alot of issues w/ my jawbone since installing this ROM. It keeps giving me the 3 beeps (lost connection) - then reconnects almost immediately.. means that half of the person's conversation that I'm listening to comes out of the phone/other half from the bluetooth.. (fairly unusable..)

Anyone else seeing that? It's pretty much the only real issue I've had with this rom.. (only up to pr4 + fixes though..)

I have had no issues with the bluetooth device with this ROM, but I have HT700 as I returned the Jawbone for echo and 3 second delay at pickup, as well the noise cancellation wasn't anything worth the cost...

I am waiting for qstik to get their FCC approve in the next couple of months as many friends of mine in the UK have said this bTheadset/AD2p device is the bomb. It does noice cancelation(DSP) on the inbound and outbound audio.

ISSUE with 3.x -> I am still having issues getting IDTransfer/CallerID to work to the bluetooth. the existing programs will not operate within 3.3 or higher.

I had issues early on with BT but was able to overcome them.
Model headset ht820.

I don't remember exactly the issue resolutions, but I believe the sp1 for the previous version was the key. That is supposed to be implemented in the current version so no need to run that again.
Also, make certain you understand the VC setup screen and try all the different possibilities, as I think at one time it gave me different results from what it stated...something like "Only send to handset speaker" actually sent it to BT device.

I loved this ROM, but couldn't get it to work with Google Calendar, and that makes me suspicious of other things it might not work with in the near future.

I've jumped Colonel's ship early on, now moving from Saridnour to BigJ.

Maybe temporarily...we shall see..

I just seen someone had posted this in regards to the country code problem:

"I extracted the exe and ran the "ROMUpgradeUt.exe" and it installed fine.
I guess the exe autoruns "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" which was giving me the error 120."

However I ran the MaUpgrade....exe and it ran fine, so perhaps they weren't in bootloader mode or something silly.

I suspect there is some difference between your .Net and the BigJ's .Net because of his statement:

Quote:
"-Full .NET2 (I know its controversial but you'll never need to worry) "
..and because GmobileSync and OggSync now work. There is no foretelling how many other current (and future) programs this could effect.

Sorry Sari...I'm out for now. Otherwise, you got good stuff...

Thumbs up Buddy!
