I initially had that problem also, but it was because I'd hard reset incorrectly during install of pr4. Immediately after correctly installing pr4, my storage memory was around 36 MB.

Because saridnour has included Voice Command 1.6 in his rom, you don't actually have to install it. All you have to do is put the VC exe file in windows and create a shortcut for the startup folder. Button five should already be set for VC, also.

I copied the exe from the install then uninstalled the VC I installed that ended up in the program files. then put the exe in the windows dir. it seems to work except one thing. It wont voice anounce the calls and stuff. I even hard rest my device and then put the exe in the windows dir and still it wont anounce calls etc. even with the boxes checked and the reg edit I seenmentioned in another post. why?

When you say it works, do you mean that you can use VC to call your contacts and can open other programs with it, like windows media player? As for announcing incoming calls, you need to go to settings, personal, voice command, select phone, and set it to announce incoming calls.

I did that but it wont. it will only anounce them if I install VC again over active sync then do all that to have it anounce the calls. so its like having 2 copies of it on there .

saridnour,

I've been using pr4 since you first released and have no plans to change as I'm very satisfied. I don't know if future modifications are planned but if you do revise please consider the cprog.exe from 3.3 rom fix for smartdial being talked about/used in other rom's being developed. Thanks for making a vast improvement in the functionality my vz6700.

Are you using Bluetooth? If not, go back to the VC setup. The default under Contacts might be "Announce notifications using BT hands free only." If so, you might need to change that to "... using BT if available" or " ... through device ..." Worth a try.
