Did you try CF1? It's built into the kitchen...
I submitted a bug report to MS (clearly noting that I'm running unoffical rom, so feel free to disregard) - interesting to note, Google Maps has no problem pulling up contacts from inside the app. |

Ok - it's some kinda bork issue with either 3.5 kitchens, or 3.5 and WLS. Like I said I fired off an email, they may get back to me - if they do I'll let you know.

Shrettj:
Please fill me in as to what you think might have an issue regarind the 3.5 kitche? I'm using cf2 for live search and was not having problems? Is there something in the kitchen that you believe needs to be looked at?

Hi, ImCoKeMaN:
I did not realize that the 3.5 ROM you put together already has .NET CF1.0 in it. So I include the .NET CF2 oem module. But I still get exception stating that I need a newer version of the .NET framework when I run an application that requires 2.0. I did notice that I have both versions under windows and registry. How do I switch these two versions if I have both of them installed? Thanks in advance. |

Im did not "include" netcf1 in the rom, it comes that way from msft.
You can remove it by removing the directory rd /s /q OS\38f43c9f-bc38-430e-81d1-a2e6c650f225 Thats what I do and then I add the netcf2 OEM that can be gotten from the KitchenOEM's on the ftp server. I've not tried many CF2 enabled applications, but they "appear" to work for me. |

Ok.. i'm making a build with all the HTC/OEMS as non-modules. I have recreated this. However somebody should search xda-developers as to whether live search (NOTE ITS A BETA!!) works with any 3.5 install.
Also can somebody check whether the netcf on our Kitchens is netcf2 or netcf2.1? |
