I got Helmi's AKU 3.5 Rom Kitchen to work(NO USB)

Excellent, glad to see it works for verizon too. My next kitchen i might accidentally leave the SprintExtendedOEM in it which would need to be removed for VX6700 users. I will try to remember to remove it, but i'm definitely going to be using it for myself. So if i don't say it again make sure to check for that folder name in the OEMs of any of my future kitchens. You have my permission to yell at me if i forget too =).

I guess at this point aside from the glaring USB issue it really was ready to be released now. Despite my first announcement being cryptic since i was at work

Thanks for releasing this, ImCoKeMaN. I installed it and it seems to be working well. The only other issue I'm having is with bluetooth. It seems to come on and off whenever it wants to. Is anyone using bluetooth successfully with this rom? Also, has anyone been able to use BT PAN?

I was soooo hoping that the palm mms would work with cdma on the 3.5 rom. I was thinking that this might be the missing link. No luck though. does same thing closes down palm mms app.

my bluetooth is kinda jacked...it comes on and discovery but never finds anything.

I dont think i hard reset after flashing. Dont say i told you so.

The bluetooth issues are sounding frighteningly similar to the issues we were describing with VC 1.6 and kitchen 3.3 custom roms.

i hard reset twice. Now my plantronics D640 is being found and paired up.

Time to start setting it all back up again.

Before you set everything up, can you do me a favor and try going to connection manager and turning bluetooth on and off a few times, then soft reset, then try turning bluetooth on and off a few more times, then soft reset a second time. If you make it through that without it getting stuck on or off, then I think you will be in good shape. With the kitchen 3.3s I can't seem to do it (nor can others).

finger, yes i'm having issues turning it on/off. resetting etc.

it got real bad after i set the priorit256 value to try and minimze skipping.

After I removed that setting, well it seems better now.

let you know if it crops back up.

So what is the verdict here? Is this 3.5 Rom really 3.5 and how different is it from the 3.3 roms?

Is it stable enough to load on my phone?

Not until the bluetooth is fixed. Im on my 4th hard reset.
