Correct. I will probably be uploading another nk.nbf later. I may start another thread to deal with the beta 3 so that we can seperate issues and problems between the two different releases.

Every day, this thread is like another Christmas, Hanukkah and birthday all rolled into one; every day, a new toy to play with. Sprint and UPS delayed the delivery of my replacement 6700, so I just installed the most current Colonel's finest on the practice device, wondering when I'll learn to use the enhancements, but so grateful that they are there. Thank you again colonel and Alwaysbelieve1 for giving these to PPC users.

I apologize in advance for my noon question, but we all have to start somewhere. Is someone willing to give a step by step guide on how to replace the nk.nbf file? I read all 43 pages in this thread and although I found some instruction there were still some holes in the explanations (i.e. where to find the nk.nbf file to replace in the first place).

None of the previous explanations I received regarding this error were correct. One person said I needed to uncheck the "USB to PC" setting in the connections tab, and someone else said I needed to hard-reset after installing the certificate. Neither were correct.

Instead, go into ActiveSync Program, choose Menu, then Options. Highlight calendar, then click settings. The default says to synchronize only the past two weeks. I change the setting to "All" and it now works perfectly.

wm5 Storage

Okay sorry for stupid question, I have figured all the included apps, but wm5storage
Please tell me what is its purpose and how to use it.
Or direct me to where to go.
I googled it and the info really gave no real world application that I could see using the wm5.

thanks a million

You don't see a use in turning your phone into being recognized as a USB drive instead of... a phone? Never came across a computer that didn't have ActiveSync installed and you wanted to move files to/from the phone? I think it's fantastic *shrug*

Luv2Chill or anyone else that wants to test. I have been trying to get InClose into the rom. However, when I do, I have found that it overwrites the msvcr80.dll and mfc80u.dll. As we may remember, these are the dlls that caused issues with the pics and vid app. Since my rom is already jacked up, it would be nice to see what happens when someone with a working rom installs InClose and checks to see if the pics and vid app still works.

Also, can someone post the 4 files in question. It would be msvcr80.dll, msvcr80.dll_, mfc80u.dll, and mfc80u.dll_. Thanks.

Colonel,

I thought that your 3.3 ROM has the feature to "Add Save as First Last in contacts"? I just added a new contact on my PPC-6700 and it still put Last Name, First Name.

Choose the contact in Contacts. Press and hold and it is in that menu.

Aw... SWEET! LOL. One more thing. I saw someone talking about WM5Storage. Not that I'd use it, but I don't even see this in my Program Files. Lastly, can you confirm that 3.3 Beta 2 is without DUN via bluetooth?
