None of the previous explanations I received regarding this error were correct. One person said I needed to uncheck the "USB to PC" setting in the connections tab, and someone else said I needed to hard-reset after installing the certificate. Neither were correct.
Instead, go into ActiveSync Program, choose Menu, then Options. Highlight calendar, then click settings. The default says to synchronize only the past two weeks. I change the setting to "All" and it now works perfectly.
