You should still be able to do the backup since it is the same rom AKU. There might be a few issues, but I have not added that much. Try it and let me know. It would be a good warning to others. I just don't use backup programs since I have my own rom and ExtRom.

Only if things started messing up. I think you are pretty safe, but restoring the registry might overwrite some of the things I have added. If everything runs smoothly and you don't see any problems, then you are good. Look for this, SIPChanger should not open on every soft reset. MMS and PAN are installed. WM5torage is in as well. There is a new folder in Start\Programs called Tools.

Well I must say good job colonel on this rom. I am very pleased at its performance. My only bone to pic with it which looks like I fixed, is that the bluetooth stack kept turning off when the phone went into suspend and would not wake back up until I did a soft reset which sucked big time. On you next cookin' please add this value to the registry.

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Suspend, add a new DWORD called btl1: (make sure the colon is there), with a DWORD value of 2

Cheers,

Michael

Thank You so much, this is the best version yet! SIPChanger not open every soft reset, and tools folder were both great mod.

Thanks again U ROCK Dude!!!

Colonel,

I am a little confused by what versions you have out there now. Which is the right one to download?

02/02/2007 09:30AM 43,796,532 Colonel's Custom 3.3.rar
02/02/2007 01:29PM 46,069,062 Colonel3.3beta2SprintNoJunkExtRom.zip

That is what is up on the FTP site so I downloaded the Custom 3.3.rar and when I uncompressed it, it was titled AdvancedCustom.exe I installed it just now and noticed a few programs are missing from the ROM of yours that I installed a few days ago.
Missing programs I dont see are:
Htc Task Manager (X button app)
SIP Changer
SmartsKey
Pocket RAR
UPX4PPC
Pocket Xpdf
batti
psShutXP
.....

Those are what I noticed were missing. I really miss those programs. Were they left out on purpose?
