Colonel packed all the programs into the extROM so they don't take up any of the precious storage space. Removing programs won't give us back any additional space. Unfortunatly, everyone has their own idea what a perfect ROM should include. For me its mainly having .net2 installed on the extROM. Nothing else i use takes up that much space. But since Colonel packaged everything like he has, I have never been happier with my phone. I just have a few bugs, but this is Beta2 still. Things are looking very promising for us thanks to cookers like Colonel. You can always go into the Kitchen thread and learn how to create your own ROM then it would be just what you want exactly.

Major phone freezes

Installed the beta version 2. but some major problems.

Dear Colonel,

Everytime I use the phone and press the x (top right corner) the phone is frozen, must soft reset.

I have tried to delete sdmemory.dll in the windows directory.

I cannot delete, rename, copy, move do anything with the file
I have tried using file explorer, total commander, and resco explorer.

Nothing works.
Going nuts!!!!

Sorry, Just not able to finally log back in. For the voice dialer, there is a cab here in the Software section. Look for the Cyberon Voice Dialer. As far as USB and syncing, I have not had any issues with this. You are not losing any of your usable memory by having these apps installed.

I would not try this on an 8125. For the Wizard (8125) I suggest going over to xda-developers.com and checking their wizard forum. They have a very sweet custom rom for the wizard. Make sure you follow all the instructions about unlocking, downgrading, and upgrading. It takes a little while, but it is worth it. PM me or post in the Wizard forum here if you have any questions.

You will really like it. I like my custom rom, but when I saw that one, I was stunned. Mostly pretty easy stuff to do, but time consuming.

I was watching out for your beta 3 which you said should be coming out soon. i have beta 2 but never installed cos it sounded like it was coming out the next day plus for some unforseen reason, servers went haywire at my job and we were reconfiguring and troubleshooting all kinds of bulls**t. I wish i was young again and really didnt have to work. . keep the good work coming though. BTW, maybe its cos i am biased to the dark look but i havent seen any phone skin that works for me. in regards to the smartdial for your phone skin, that skin was never released by the original designer and the thread seems dead. Saw some other good ones but they didnt have them in landscape or there was double writing. dont have photoshop, but there is something else i can use which will require the weekend to play with, but i have to play soldier this weekend and its superbowl. (will try though). If anyone else has photoshop or made a skin before, can you also look into this. Thank you
