Uh guys... *cough* Wifi now works near full 802.11b speed *cough*

I am now pulling 300+KBytes/sec via wifi. Best I could do before was 150-200KB.

I will need to test this some more, but yeah, that alone is worth it.

Got this installed up good now.

Just to be safe installed the bare minimum sprintpcs custom cabs and the prl 20224 update (and certs). Looks to be working nicely so far. Minus the screen reaction time on poweron takes a couple secs at times (no worse than usual though).

Today screen working great as well so far with alot of icons (granted that may change).

Just noticed that the icons on the top bar are back to the old school look where the EV icon stays in the box and the data arrows are mixed with the reception bars.

I just downloaded this. I have only used Offical Roms (Currently 2.0) but may give this a try. But I have just a few questions

1. Contacts work?
2. I see talk of PAN and DUN - will this affect me going into wireless modem and selecting USB to tether? This is the ONLY way I get my PC online currently.

I guess I will make a SPB backup of my 2.0 Rom and re-flash the 2.0 Rom if 3.3 has too many mistakes.

Thats alot for the post, this AKU thing is what seems to get everyone excited around here lol.

Should be in the problems topic, but anyone out there try Pictures & Videos - let me know if it works for you or hangs up. Camera works fine for me, but P&V is hanging. Installed .NET 1, no change. Just looking for a second report of failure here to rule out it being a local issue. Thanks!

Hangs for me too. Tried CF 2.0 SP1 and still freezes. Only a soft-reset will clear it up

For those that want the smart dialing option back. Smartdialing cab is in the download page of this site. just installed it and can verify that it works with 3.3 Still testing stuff, but this is worth every second of it.

It's been a few hours with the new rom and there are things I like and dont like after getting every back the way I like it.

A few observations so far.

MS Voice command does not close the bt audio gateway after cancelling. It does however get closed when the unit suspends or a call is ended normally. Some people may really like this because if you want to listen to music through your bt headset all you have to do is start the music, initiate a bt voice command and say cancel.. suddenly the music starts playing through bt.

So far I cannot tell when my data call is active or not. Before you had grey arrows when inactive but connected and white when there was activity. Now all I have is solid white, I hope that doesnt mean its keeping a live data connection flowing at all times as I would expect this to affect battery life. Ring through is working fine but I would still like to know when data is "flowing" and not.

No smart dial.

Overall the unit seems snappier all around. No dsod's yet and no random bt disconnects yet. These were the two issues I hated most. At this point I see no need to go back to any old rom. That is unless the always on data call is really a issue vs just bad notification.

Thanks much for all of your hard work!!

I dont get it thought.. why can one man make something like this happen yet Sprint can't get their heads out of their arses and release a rom that is ACTUALLY an improvement. I forsee a new rom from them soon... 2.2 YAY.
