I am glad to report that AKU 3.3 works great with VZW xv6700 without the default cabs installed.

FYI - I also noticed if I delete the server source and then add the server back - items I get to select sync are removed. icons are missing and no check box for items.

FLASHED my Verizon 6700. I like the new wizards, espcially the fact that it makes you set the time!

It seems like the extended rom loads faster, I was to slow so I just had to hard reset again because I don't want any extended ROM yet.

Interesting how it shows the data connection over the signal bars instead of changes the EV (or 1X) icon.

Syncing to my Exchange server now, had no issues setting it up or connecting.

just had 2 phone calls, the phone apps seems quicker and more responsive, but part of that might be that I had to much stuff installed before, but I really that that it is at least a bit faster than the VZW 2.2 ROM.

Ok, all registry hacks in.
You need to do all the normal performance hacks for gui (menu animate, glyphcache), I also did the disk cache ones, and nuked the icons in the task bar. Soft reset, and man oh man does it FLY.

I'm up as a seed on the torrent now - I'll leave that up, I've got a 780kbit up link so it should help...

The torrent isn't working for me, is there an updated tracker? I just wanted to help share it, but if it doesn't work for me others might also have the same problem. I guess rapidshare is working, but not my fav

Edit:
Nevermind I guess it is set to a private torrent and I am not registered so i get the error "DHT: Not Allowed"

Howdy,

I did a clear storage again, then I did the rom update again. After I did this, I clicked skip on set up e-mail before it started the apps install. Then I did the exchange server activesync config from the phone - worked well. It did sync things in batches as opposed to all at once as previously but it did seem to work.
