the method above should unstick ur device, but it will leave u still with the telecom version with aku 2.2. To go back to your old rom you will have to reflash an offical version of your carriers rom.

I did the upgrade this morning and it certainly does respond a little faster. I trying to decide if I should install XCPUScalar again. Did anyone else use that addon before the upgrade?

heck yeah, no more hold button on the pad, i didnt really notice any performance if any,, some app still freeze on me or the screen wont light up, that maybe my phone thou. maybe another trip to sprint store.

I bootloaded AKU 2.2 and my startup times are actually reasonable (20-30s) as opposed to 45-60s!

Anyway I have gotten attached to greenbattery fix showing a modified battery icon in the top bar. I have showicon=1, but I just see the clock, is there a way to show the battery icon with AKU 2.2?

Also since it seems the initial boot screen image has been changed, I guess I should hold off on reinstalling all my apps as someone will find a way to change the Telecom image to something else right?

If I do this update do I still need to perform the Ring Through Fix?

I did not upgrade the ROM from the recent update. I just stuck with the RTF.
