Yep, overclocking works great. It's also a MUST for using Skype to improve call quality. And if you want to you a BlueTooth with TCPMP.

What ROM did you have before that was causing WiFi not to work? |

Re: Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
i was using helmi's initially and I could always see wifi spots, but never connect to them (secured or unsecured). The old man gave me a wifi router to try, no go. Bought one from Staples. No go. Reflashed back to bell original and connected first try. Flashed to Lenny's and connected first try. *shrug* Prolly user error more so than ROM error.

When using this first rom you're supposed to use a WiFi patch. From what I understand a DLL file in this rom was bad, someone picked up an older version and it worked. There have been so many new releases. This thread should die. |

But reset and hook on USB and it syncs??? can you help me to upgrade the second phone? Much apreciated. Latinflyer. |

Re: Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
I've been away from the ppc6700 forum for awhile. I downloaded the update version from this thread yesterday and tried to upgrade my Sprint ppc6700. While doing the upgrade, I got stock in the bootloader mode with the message that I needed an updated version. I eventually did a hard reset and reverted back to my pervious version of the operating system, but any ideas on what went wrong and what I need to do to perform the upgrade?
