Hey everyone,
Just wanted to know if anyone has any idea why my text response time is so terrible. the only program I have running now is photocontacts. When I soft reset the phone, it's better for about 10 mins and it starts lagging terribly. The characters don't appear on the screen when I punch them in and it sometimes skips them altogether.

Any ideas?

Donated. And that's even before trying it. The work alone was worth it. Now to try it out and get involved in making it better.

Thanks Helmi!!!

Splash and Boot screen change?

How can I change the Windows Mobile boot screen in this WM6 rom?

I've changed the HTC splash screen already (using Apache Splash).
Is the Boot schreen also an .nb file? If so, can I find and swap it with another .nb file?

The Windows splash screen is a file in your \Windows folder called welcomehead.96.png. You can replace it... just make sure the new graphic file is in PNG format and give it the same name.

Is there a way to change the carrier splash screen after the fact once the ROM is loaded onto the phone? I made mine custom, but want to replace it with stock. Thanks!

Yes, search the forums for apachesplash.exe. If it doesn't come up, send me a private message and I'll arrange sending you the zip file. It contains instructions, the exe to change the pic, and a converter to conver BMP to the right picture format.

Thanks Gervy!! Once you told me what it was called, it was very easy to find. I'm posting the link below for the ease of others in finding it.

Thanks to Isamu49 for the original posting.
