Re: Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

Nope, I'm on xp. I ended up reverting back to verizon's 2.02 w/wm5...I think I'll try to start over and only use kitchen this time. Thanks so much for responding!

No problem. AKU3.3 is the best WM5 rom, although it's gay compared to WM6. The bootloader upgrade that came with it is "ok". Use the WM6.1 kitchen and you won't have these problems. I'm very soon gonna be moving to the 6800, but I still love my Apache with WM6.1!

Re: Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

You know, I just used the kitchen to install Helmi's 6.1, and now still can't open contacts, wi-fi works now, but none of the office apps open. In fact, neither does welcome center. keep getting a message for these saying that a component is missing. Also, this build doesn't look as snazzy as the other one. how can I get that htc look?

Which HTC look are you talking about? So have you tried a soft reset at all or even a hard? Y

Use the kitchen man. This rom aint worth much compared to the WM6/6.1 kitchen.

Re: Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

Is there a new thread with new, good ROM? I have a Verizon XV6700 (black / silver / black) with WM5 but I have it on MetroPCS now...

Thanks!

Yes, read the stickes. We now use what's called a kitchen. You make your own with the software put out by ppckitchen.org
