If you want a way to backup your text messages and call history have a look at www.dashwire.com have just started using it but looks like a good backup option. Gets my vote for including in the kitchen as I'm not aware of any other backup options for text/call history except PIM Backup. Has anyone tried 21028 from here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=60512? Also any plans for these to be made official in the kitchen and available via updater? 6.5 is also being developed http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=58497. Gguruusa any insight if you guys are working on something official?

I have tried 21028 and I had service, but there were lots of quirky things going on that are not worthy of my everyday phone. My phone also froze at boot with 21018 so I am back to this last official update. As for 6.5, I am sure it will be added when the kinks are worked out... there seem to be plenty going on with 6.1 newer builds at the moment.

Guru, you are the MAN!. The fact that you are still offering support to the 6700 crew is aces. I been workin off a half ***** upgrade i never bothered fixing from about 5 months ago. Just sat down and wanted to breathe new life back into my baby to make her last another 8-12 months and been workin with the kitchen for the last week to get that perfect setup. Ran into 2 issues. First was I wasnt gettin audio from the videos I was recording. Fixed through registry. Secondly, I hate to say it but I cant get smms to work. I can send but i still have to dial out through pie to see any pics that are sent to me. I feel its a registry issue. I have installed smms through the kitchen as well as the standalone cab file. Both do not work. I admit I have not donated for this because I never got it working. Naturally I will when I get it to. Thanks.

I updated the rom of my vx6700 & it works beautifull, but it does not find my memory card i format as FAT & FAT32 & it does not find it I have a 2GB

I had not received an answer about my memory card, that's your version will support my 2GB card? or there is a maximun that I don't know about, I will like to continue ussing it as I was before your update. Thank you

It will support the 2GB card. I am using an 8 GB card.

If that is the case why is no finding my 2GB card, I can read it in the card reader as well in other phones, but the 2vx6700 that I have are telling me that there is not card installed, please help. the cars was working ok before the update. I also took the 4GB from my treo 750 & same resolt, memory card installed. I'm going nuts.
